This is a Bearcat Music tradition and our main fundraiser of the school year. As shared, participation fees, while generous, do not fully cover the costs of our music program. Funds raised through the CookieDough campaign help your students in many ways (see below) and every box counts!
Our goal is for each student to sell 10 boxes of cookies - to neighbors, friends, and family. These are great to have in the freezer and bake in minutes! When you sell these boxes, a percentage comes back to the Music Boosters, and we put a designated amount into your student's travel account. Travel account funds stay with the student and can be used towards our annual Music Trip for the entire program each Spring - this year, we will be going to Disneyland, and once every four years the trip is to Hawaii! (Stay tuned for details soon.)
Note: The cookiedough company requires paper forms - if you need a form, please see Mr. Abada or Ms. Chan. Cookiedough forms are due back to Mr. Abada or Ms. Chan by September 8 - don't be late!
Cookiedough pick-up will be in person on 9/25 - the cookiedough arrives frozen, so start making room in your freezer today!
Not able to sell cookies? No problem! Instead, we ask for a suggested donationof $150/student to the Music Boosters. These donations do not fund the travel accounts but are fully tax-deductible. And, if you are eligible for a company match, this could double or triple the impact of your gift!
