Pep Band is the sound and spirit of San Mateo High. Members of Marching, Concert, and Symphonic Bands participate, performing a fun repertoire of classic rock and pop music (and the SMHS fight song!) designed to pump up the crowds at home football games and rallies. It is unique to the "Bearcat music" experience and a highlight for SMHS students and alumni. Go Bearcats!
Please note: Pep Band is not an individual class, but an ensemble made up of members of Marching, Concert, and Symphonic bands.
